July 26th is the Feast of Sts Joachim and Anne. The book - My nameday, come for dessert suggests the colors green and red for celebrating the Feast of Our Lady's parents, as we see these colors on their vestments representing immortality and Divine love respectivily.
Summer is full of watermelon and strawberry-themed party ideas that it happened to have the colors that we are looking for: green and red - without looking like Christmas ;)
