I admit that finding these ideas was so hard! There is still much to come up with! If you have any ideas, please send your link or pictures and I will post them
This is what I have found. The holy card above with this beautiful prayer:
My Child, God made you to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him. To serve Him, in a special work is your vocation. Perhaps you are to be a priest or a sister, an engineer or a teacher a doctor or a nurse, or something else. If you do this work for love of God, you will be rewarded in Heaven.
Say this prayer to know your vocation:
" Holy Spirit of God, give me light to see what is the Will of God for me. Give me grace to do Your Will always. Dear Blessed Mother, help me to live and to die in God's love. Guide me in my Life's Vocation." Rev. Henry P. Thiefels, C.S.Sp.
This is vintage holy card found at Ebay! I loved the picture!
These bubbles
(yes...bubbles...) are from
Oriental Trading. The outside of the bottles features Prov. 3:6:
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.
Here are some prayers that I found with which you could make something like a
mini-notebook, candle, or which you could put inside of a box with treats, or in a bottle, or how about a
photo coaster and slipping the prayer into it in place of the photo!
Father, I have knowledge, so will You show me now,
How to use it wisely and find a way somehow
To make the world I live in a little better place,
And make life with its problems a little bit easier to face.
Grant me faith and courage and put purpose in my days,
And show me how to serve Thee in effective ways.
So my education, my knowledge and my skill
May find their true fulfillment as I learn to do Thy will.
And may I ever be aware in everything I do,
That knowledge comes from learning, and wisdom comes from You.
In place of the prayer even, one could use a Bible passage that is meaningful to the graduate.
Look at this favor box - so easy and cute!
